Description
One of the main phenomena and challenges the EU is facing nowadays is migration. Migration and asylum systems of the EU Member States have been undergoing substantial changes in order to address these challenges while the EU s impact on this policy area is growing and has gone beyond the minimum legislative standards. The course EU Migration Law and Policy enables insight into internal and external dimensions of EU migration law and policy. The course approaches the analysis of this topic by simultaneously taking into consideration its gradual politization and securatization, as well as the importance of protecting human rights in the context of EU migration law.
