PROFESORICI DR. SC. IRIS GOLDNER LANG DODIJELJEN MEĐUNARODNI PROJEKT “ALGORITHMIC FAIRNESS FOR ASYLUM-SEEKERS AND REFUGEES”
Četverogodišnji projekt “Algorithmic Fairness for Asylum-Seekers and Refugees” (AFAR) je dodijeljen u okviru programa “Challenges for Europe” zaklade Volkswagen. U projektu će osim Pravnog fakulteta u Zagrebu sudjelovati i interdisciplinarni tim s Hertie School of Governance (Berlin), University of Oxford, University of Kopenhagen i European University Institute (Firenca).
Projekt će omogućiti niz znanstveno-istraživačkih aktivnosti vezanih uz primjenu novih tehnologija u području migracija i azila te zapošljavanje dva doktoranda na Pravnom fakultetu u Zagrebu.

TAMARA ĆAPETA IMENOVANA NEZAVISNOM ODVJETNICOM NA SUDU
Države članice Europske unije zajedničkim su dogovorom 7. srpnja 2021. izabrale profesoricu dr. sc. Tamaru Ćapeta za nezavisnu odvjetnicu na Sudu Europske unije.
Time je predstojnica naše katedre i suvoditeljica našeg Jean Monnet centra izvrsnosti postala prva nezavisna odvjetnica iz Republike Hrvatske te tek šesta žena koja obnaša tu važnu funkciju na Sudu EU-a.

SNJEŽANA VASILJEVIĆ IMENOVANA AD HOC SUTKINJOM EUROPSKOG SUDA ZA LJUDSKA PRAVA
U jednoj godini, dvije sutkinje s EJP katedre na najvišim europskim sudovima!
Profesorica Snježana Vasiljević imenovana je ad hoc sutkinjom na Europskom sudu za ljudska prava u Strasbourgu.

TAMARA PERIŠIN IMENOVANA SUTKINJOM OPĆEG SUDA EU
Katedra s ponosom javlja da je naša profesorica Tamara Perišin imenovana sutkinjom Općeg suda EU. Na putu do imenovanja, prof. Perišin je, na temelju javnog natječaja, predložio Odbor za imenovanje sudaca, nominirala Vlada RH, potvrdio Sabor RH, na njenu kandidaturu dao je pozivitno mišljenje Odbor 255 te su je, na kraju procesa, 29. svibnja 2019. jednoglasno imenovali predstavnici država članica EU. Iako će nas od jeseni napustiti da preuzme dužnost na Sudu, Tamara i dalje ostaje članica naše Katedre.

Oops! We did it again!
Our students, Melita Carević, Paula Kiš and Filip Kuhta qualified 2nd to the College of Europe at the All-European finals of the European Law Moot Court Competition, on April 4th 2008.
