Within this general objective students will learn about the theoretical foundation of fundamental rights, their normative ordering and how are they incorporated into the law of the EU. The course will present evolution of judicial protection of fundamental rights before the European Court of Justice, how are they crystallized in its case law and codified by the Founding Treaties and secondary legislation.
