Summer School on “The Role of International and Nongovernmental Organizations in Migration Governance,” July 9th to 11th, 2024.
The Research Team MIGRA Szczecin at the Faculty of Law and Administration of University of Szczecin, in collaboration with VITEZ University (Bosnia and Herzegovina), invites you to join our Summer School on “The Role of International and Nongovernmental Organizations in Migration Governance,” which takes place from July 9th to 11th, 2024. Lectures and workshops will be conducted by esteemed experts from both universities, as well as special guest speakers.
This Summer School is designed for students, scholars, practitioners, and professionals working in the fields of law, international relations, political science, migration, and human rights. The sessions will be conducted in English and will provide a comprehensive exploration of the roles played by international and nongovernmental organizations in managing migration flows, advocating for migrants’ rights, and shaping global migration policies.
The agenda of the Summer School includes, among others, the following topics:
- The legal frameworks governing migration
- The operational mechanisms of international and nongovernmental organizations in migration governance
- Workshops on practical challenges and opportunities in migration management
- Case studies on the protection of migrants’ rights
