Within the course students will gain knowledge about interpersonal communication and the significance of communication skills for social work. Students will develop skills of recognising patterns of communication, active listening, observation and speech, giving and receiving feedback, forming I-message and asking questions.
Study of theories of communication and skills related to dyadic communication and the variables which affect it, including roles of communication, gender, and rules in both personal and professional contexts.
