The Faculty Council is the faculty’s professional council.
The Faculty Council is composed of:
– all teaching staff appointed to scientific-teaching positions
– one representative of the employees employed in teaching positions
– three representatives of the employees employed in faculty associate positions
– student representatives, representing 10% of the total number of members of the Faculty Council,
and
– one representative of other employees.
Faculty Council sessions are convened and chaired by the dean.
The Faculty Council sessions are usually held on Wednesdays at 12:00 pm.
In order to allow all members of the Faculty Council to participate in its work on a regular basis, classes are not to be held on Wednesdays between 12:00 pm and 14:00 pm.
Calls for the sessions of the Faculty Council and the Postgraduate Studies Council are sent by e-mail, while any documents relevant for the sessions are posted on the intranet, as a rule, eight days prior to the sessions.
Calls for the sessions of the Faculty Council are sent to all teachers, associates and student representatives, while documents relevant for particular items on the agenda are sent only to the Council members. All documents relating to the work of the Council are available at the Faculty Secretariat to all interested teachers, associates and student representatives.
Pursuant to the Statute of the Faculty of Law, in order to examine particular issues, prepare reports or decisions from its scope of authority, the Faculty Council can form permanent or temporary committees.
The following committees have been formed for the academic years 2023/2024, 2024/2025 and 2025/2026:
Sjednice Fakultetskog vijeća održavaju se, u pravilu, srijedom u 12,00 sati.
Da bi se svim članovima Fakultetskog vijeća omogućilo redovito sudjelovanje u njegovu radu, srijedom od 12,00 do 14,00 sati nastava se neće održavati.
Pozivi za sjednice Fakultetskog vijeća i Vijeća poslijediplomskih studija dostavljat će se e-mailom, a prilozi uz pozive intranetom, u pravilu, osam dana prije održavanja sjednica.
Pozivi za sjednice Fakultetskog vijeća dostavljat će se svim nastavnicima, suradnicima i predstavnicima studenata, s time da će se prilozi uz pojedine točke dnevnog reda dostavljati samo članovima Vijeća. Sva dokumentacija vezana uz rad Vijeća bit će svim zainteresiranim nastavnicima, suradnicima i predstavnicima studenata dostupna u tajništvu Fakulteta.
Sukladno Statutu Fakulteta, radi proučavanja pojedinih pitanja, izrade izvješća ili pripremanja odluka iz svoga djelokruga Fakultetsko vijeće može osnivati stalna i povremena povjerenstva.
