The Students’ Union of the Faculty of Law is a representative body of students that was formed with the aim of preserving student rights and contributing to a more active student life. Members are elected every two years when students directly elect their future representatives. A student who wants to actively contribute to the work and overall well-being of students and faculties can stand as a candidate. After the election, the Assembly is formed from which the Presidency derives and the representatives of the students in the Faculty Council are elected. The work is assisted by the committees in which all students with interests related to the functioning of the specific committee are invited to work. Formalities on the elections and work of the Students’ Union are prescribed by the Statute, but the main goal is to encourage integration and cooperation between the students themselves, as well as between the students and teachers through communication and negotiations.
