Organisational units of the Faculty are: Chairs, Institutes, Social Work Study Centre, Library and Faculty Secretary’s Office
Chairs:
Chairs are basic internal organisational units of the educational and scientific work at the Faculty. The following Chairs are organised at the Faculty:

Institutes:
Institutes are organisational units which consist of several Chairs and have the status of Faculty branches. The Institutes organise and conduct scientific research and highly professional work in the sphere of legal sciences which comprise scientific disciplines within the Institutes.
The following Institutes are organised at the Faculty:
- the Institute of International and Comparative Law
- the Institute of Administrative and Political Sciences
- the Institute of Criminal Law Sciences, Criminology and Victimology
- the Institute of Commercial Law and the Law of International Trade, Economics and Finance
- the Institute of Civil Law Sciences and Family Law
- the Institute of the History of Law and State.
Within the Institute of International Law and Comparative Law are the Chair of International Law and the Chair of Private International Law. The seat of the Institute is in Zagreb, 4 Ćirilometodska.
Within the Institute of Administrative and Political Sciences are the Chair of Administrative Science, the Chair of Constitutional Law, the Chair of Administrative Law, the Chair of Labour Law and Social Security and the Chair of Sociology. The seat of the Institute is in Zagreb, 4 Ćirilometodska.
Within the Institute of Criminal Law Sciences, Criminology and Victimology are the Chair of Criminal Law and the Chair of Criminal Procedural Law. The seat of the Institute is in Zagreb, 14 Trg maršala Tita.
Within the Institute of Commercial Law and the Law of International Trade, Economics and Finance are the Chair of Commercial Law and Company Law, the Chair of Maritime Law and General Transport Law, the Chair of Financial Law and Financial Science, the Chair of Political Economy, the Chair of Economic Policy and the Chair of Statistics. The seat of the Institute is in Zagreb, 14 Trg maršala Tita.
Within the Institute of Civil Law Sciences and Family Law are the Chair of Civil Law, the Chair of Civil Procedural Law, the Chair of Family Law and the Chair of the General Theory of Law and State. The seat of the Institute is in Zagreb, 3 Trg maršala Tita.
Within the Institute of the Croatian History of Law and State are the Chair of the General History of Law and State and the Chair of Roman Law. The seat of the Institute is in Zagreb, 4 Ćirilometodska.
Social Work Study Centre
The Social Work Study Centre is an organisational unit with the legal status of the Faculty branch. The Centre conducts scientific research and highly professional work in the sphere of social work and participates in the conduct of the social work study programme.
Within the Centre are the Chair of Psychology, the Chair of the Theory and Methodology of Social Work, the Chair of Social Work Sphere, the Chair of Social Policy and the Chair of Gerontology. The seat of the Centre is in Zagreb, 51 Nazorova.
Library
The Library performs all librarian tasks at the Faculty as well as the tasks concerning scientific and professional documentation that are not performed in the Institutes and the Social Work Study Centre (a more detailed presentation follows).
Faculty Secretary’s Office
The Faculty Secretary’s Office performs professional, administrative, statistical, accounting, technical and other tasks which enable successful work of the Faculty.
