You are ill, so you cannot attend classes or take examinations?

In case of a short-term absence from the Faculty

In case of a short-term absence from the Faculty, it is sufficient for the student to report directly to the course teachers or assistants in order to agree on how to follow-up about missed coursework. If your absence was due to illness, please submit a certificate from your personal physician or specialist to the lecturer and that’s it!

In which case can a full-time student or a part-time student apply for suspension of student obligations and what are the student’s rights during the suspension?

At the student’s request (application shall be submitted to the Dean) the student’s obligations shall be suspended in case of military service, pregnancy and up to the first year of the child’s life and due to a serious illness lasting for more than three months, if the illness is of such a nature that the student was prevented from performing student obligations. The Dean may also grant suspension of student obligations in other justified cases. See Art. 42. of the Ordinance.

During this period, students have the right to take exams from previously enrolled subjects.
