Following the earthquake that hit Zagreb in spring 2020 and due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Library operates in difficult circumstances.

In addition to borrowing and copying materials, the Library provides all other services online wherever possible.

In accordance with the current epidemiological measures, users are obliged to announce and arrange an appointment by e-mail to knjiznica@pravo.hr before arriving at the Library.

Reading room

Hall II on the ground floor of the building on Trg Republike Hrvatske 3 is open for the work of the reading rooms of the Faculty of Law, and it is equipped with twenty computers that provide access to domestic and foreign databases, and there is also a collection of study literature and selected periodicals. In addition to using the computer to search for legal sources, students will also be able to print out various certificates.

The Reading room is open to all students, teachers and other interested users every working day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

 

Online Library Services

In the online catalogue of the Library https://www.pravo.unizg.hr/knjiznica/online_katalog, users can independently search the holdings and check if the Library has the requested title.

By searching the catalogue, you will get bibliographic information about library materials. Send an email to knjiznica@pravo.hr if you wish:

  • to check if the requested title is available for loan or use
  • to order the supply of titles from remote storages
  • to access the full text of the article published in a publication that the Library has, but is not available in electronic form or in free access
  • to order copies or scans of material from the Library’s holdings.

 

Other legal sources and full-text databases can be accessed from the Library’s website under the e-Source section https://www.pravo.unizg.hr/knjiznica/e-izvori (use your AAI identity to log in).
