for the postgraduate doctoral study programme in legal sciences
I. The tuition for the postgraduate doctoral study programme in legal sciences (hereinafter: the Study) amounts to HRK 12,000.00 per semester. Tuition shall be settled before enrolling into each of the semesters.
II. A student who, following the end of the semester for which the tuition had already been paid, does not meet the conditions for enrolment in the next semester is obliged to pay half of the fee from Point 1 of this Decision before re-enrolling in the same semester in order to meet the previously unfulfilled conditions for enrolment in the following semester.
III. The tuition referred to in Point 1 of this Decision shall cover all the rights provided for in Article 22 (1) of the Regulations on Postgraduate Doctoral Study in Legal Sciences, which include organising and conducting doctoral and methodological conferences. Tuition does not include accommodation, food, travel expenses and other similar material costs that may arise as a result of doctoral or methodological conferences.
IV. The fee for the preparation and defence of a doctoral dissertation shall be determined as follows:
- a student who prepares and defends a doctoral dissertation within the period in which he/she is required to complete the Study is not obliged to pay a fee for the preparation and defence of the doctoral dissertation.
- a student who does not prepare and defend the doctoral dissertation within the period in which he/she is required to complete the Study is obliged to pay a fee for the preparation and defence of the doctoral thesis in the amount equal to the tuition to be paid for one semester of Study.
V. A student who has not prepared and defended a doctoral dissertation even after the deadline set by the Regulations is obliged to pay a fee for extending the right to prepare and defend a doctoral dissertation in accordance with the decision extending the doctoral study and determining the completion date.
VI. A student who terminates the Study before enrolling in all study semesters of the Study may not exercise the rights and obligations of the Study until he/she enrols in and pays the tuition for the first following semester that he/she has not enrolled and attended, in the amount equal to that of the tuition determined for the upcoming semester of the Study the student is about to join.
VII. This decision applies to all students who enrol in the Study after it enters into force.
