The International Mobility Office of the Faculty of Law in Zagreb organized Welcome Day for international students on Thursday, 30th of September 2021 in the Faculty building in the Upper Town, Ćirilometodska street. The Faculty is hosting 55 international exchange students from 13 different European countries this winter semester, which is an encouraging number given the circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the beginning, Erasmus students were warmly welcomed by the Vice Dean for International Affairs, prof. dr. sc. Iris Goldner Lang and the Vice Dean for Students and Teaching, prof. dr.sc. Mirela Krešić. The presentation about the Faculty of Law was held by Jelena Tadić Cegnar from the International Mobility Office of the Faculty, while Petra Petrović presented Zagreb Law Library.
Many thanks to the representatives of the ESN Zagreb, ELSA Zagreb, Law Clinic of the Faculty and Sports Students Association of the Faculty for representing their valuable work to the international students.
After the official part of the program, all present participated in a group photo and had the opportunity to meet each other over a cup of coffee and cookies served at the atrium in the fresh air. At the end, many students joined an organized two-hour walk through the city with a professional guide. We are convinced that studying at the Faculty of Law will be a great and important life experience for international students and that they will soon become proud members of the alumni community of the Faculty.
