Head of the Chare for Social Work
In her teaching career she has developed and introduced a number of courses at the Department of Social Work and Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb, and at the Departments of Psychology in Zagreb and Osijek. Since 2012 she teaches at her home institution:

Legal Psychology at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb
Psychology in public administration at the Study Centre for Public Administration and Public Finances, Faculty of Law in Zagreb
She is the founder and head of the first postgraduate program in social work, ongoing since 2002, under the name of Postgraduate program in the theory and methodology of social work. Since 2006 she is the head of the postgraduate specialist programs Supervision and Psychosocial approach in social work and of the Doctoral program in social work and social policy.
SUPERVISION OF DOCTORAL AND POSTDOCTORAL STUDENTS
From 2000 to 2013 she was a mentor in 19 completed doctorates at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, and Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka.
In 2014 she was appointed by the University of Vienna to be an external member of scientific board for four doctoral students at the Department of Psychology
More than 150 papers published in journals and 12 books.

From 2009 (now in second term) she is the head of the National Scientific Board for political sciences, sociology, applied social sciences (social work and social policy) and security and defence sciences.
Chief Editor of the journal Annual of Social Work since 1995, which entered under her leadership in all major international databases (e.g. WoS)
Member of the Council for Children from 1998 to 2008, and from 2012 to the present. From 2000 to 2003 president of the Council for Children of the Croatian Government.
She is an active member of international professional associations such as ISPCAN (International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect), EAPL (European Association of Psychology and Law), IASSW (International Association of Schools of Social Work), and ANSE (Association of National Organisations for Supervision in Europe).
Since 2010 she has been a regular reviewer of scientific projects for the Slovenian Research Agency.
She serves as a regular reviewer in international scientific journals such as European Journal of Social Work, International Journal of Social Work, European Journal of Traumatic Stress, regional journals such as Socialno delo, Temida, and almost all journals from the field of social and educational sciences in Croatia.
