Associate Professor Marijana Kletečki Radović was born in 1972 in Zagreb, Republic of Croatia. She graduated from the Department of Social Work of the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb in 1996, and in 2011 she earned a doctoral degree in theory and methods of social work at the same faculty, field of social activity, branch of theory of social work. She defended a doctoral thesis Poverty and some aspects of psychosocial development of children. In 2012 she was appointed to a title of scientific assistant in the area of social sciences, field of social activities.

In December 2002 she was employed as an assistant – junior researcher, in 2011 as a senior assistant, and in 2015 as an assistant professor at the Department of Social Work of the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb. From 2012 she was a member of the research team at the UNICEF project: Poverty and material welfare of pre-school children in the Republic of Croatia.  She participated in several scientific research projects financed by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sport: „Social Policy and Social Work in Croatia” (2000-2004) headed by Professor Emeritus Vlado Puljiz, „Models of Action and Evaluation Research in Social Work” (2004-2006) headed by Professor Marina Ajduković and “Children, youth, family and social development of Croatia” (2006-2012). She participated in an international research project „Service users as experience experts in social work education and research“ (2008-2009) funded by the International association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW). As a member of expert teams she participated in a work group for analysis and drafting of the National strategy for the rights of children in the Republic of Croatia 2014-2020 in the area of social welfare and child poverty. As a guest lecturer participated in the specialist study Rights of children in the course Poverty and children.

Her research areas include individual casework, social work in the area of mental health, poverty and social exclusion and child poverty.

She is a member of the Croatian Chamber of Social Workers, the Croatian Association of Social Workers and the Society for Psychological Assistance
