The course examines bioethical problems that are of relevance to legal field and, by bringing these problems in relation to human rights, it involves analysis of the development of moral and bioethical argument about the development of health law in particular countires, regions and the world. The course begins with an overview of the health system and its constitutional and legislative framework. Emphasis is placed on the concepts of the right to health, pandemics/epidemics, medical ethics, patients’ rights and efficiency and safety in health care, AI, abortion, euthanasia, organ traffickings, gene manipulation etc.While dealing with different topics, the major task of the course is to learn to apply the bioethical theories to practical cases. In the same vain, to criticaly analyse the role of international organizations, states, legal entities and individuals concerning the right to heath and the access to healthcare.
