Dunja Milotić was born in Vukovar in 1981. After completing her secondary education in Pula, she enrolled in the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb in 1999. She graduated in September 2005 with a thesis entitled “Military Frontier: Status and Institutions” under the mentorship of Prof. Dalibor Čepulo. From December 2005 to April 2006, she worked as a trainee at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Croatia. In April 2006, she was employed as an assistant at the Department of Croatian History of Law and State at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb. From 2007 to 2012, she attended the Postgraduate University Doctoral Study in Criminal Law Sciences at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, where she successfully defended her doctoral thesis in October 2012 on the topic “Jury Trials in Istria from 1848 to 1918”. Milotić has authored several scientific papers and has participated in various conferences in Croatia and abroad. She is a member of the Association of Young Legal Historians, the Society for Croatian History and the Croatian Association for Criminal Sciences and Practice.
