The event held on 1 and 2 February 2024, marked the conclusion of the UNICEF Croatia Office project „Strengthening national capacities to improve the protection of unaccompanied children and displaced children from Ukraine“, with the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb as implementing partner in the project from June 2023 to February 2024. The faculty’s research team included Prof. Aleksandra Korać Graovac and Prof. Irena Majstorović from the Department of Family Law, Assoc. Prof. Lucija Vejmelka from the Study Center of Social Work as the coordinator, as well as Assoc. Prof. Ivan Šimović, Assoc. Prof. Anica Čulo Margaletić, and Assoc. Prof. Barbara Preložnjak from the Department of Family Law, Prof. Goranka Lalić Novak from the Department of Administrative Science, and Asst. Prof. Tena Hoško from the Department of Private International Law.

By greeting the audience on behalf of the Dean, Professor Ivan Koprić, the Vice-Dean for Science, Innovation, Knowledge Transfer, and Lifelong Learning, Prof. Elizabeta Ivičević Karas expressed gratitude to the UNICEF Office in Croatia for their trust, and acknowled the faculty’s research team for their commitment to this significant topic.
