On Europe Day, 9 May 2024, the President of the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic, Petr Angyalossi, held a lecture for students at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb on the topic “Organization of the Judiciary in the Czech Republic and the Best Practices in Enhancing the Public Trust in the Courts”. The lecture was also attended by the ambassador of the Czech Republic, Milan Hovorka. In the afternoon, in the residence of the Czech Embassy, a round table on “Current Issues of Criminal Law – Czech and Croatian Experiences” was held. Alongside Petr Angyalossy, also the teachers from the Faculty’s Department of Criminal Law and the Department of Criminal Procedure participated in the round table, as well as judges of the Municipal Criminal Court Ika Peranović and Anamarija Pavičić.
