On Monday, 26 May 2026, the conference “Reinforcing EU Constitutionalism” was held at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb to mark the successful implementation and completion of the Jean Monnet Module project “EU Constitutional Law and Methodology,” led by Ass. Prof. Nika Bačić Selanec from the Department of European Public Law.

Alongside the project leader, professors from our Faculty took part in the conference, as did Croatian representatives at the Court of Justice of the European Union: Judge Siniša Rodin, Advocate General Tamara Ćapeta, and Judge Tamara Perišin, as well as a number of internationally renowned EU law professors: Fernanda Nicola (Washington College of Law, American University), Gareth Davies (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam), Matej Avbelj (Nova univerza Ljubljana), Ana Bobić, and Mark Dawson (Hertie School of Governance). The conference and the Jean Monnet Module were highlighted by a keynote address delivered by Professor Koen Lenaerts, President of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
