Assoc. Prof. Marko Jurić graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb in 2007. He obtained his doctoral degree at the Faculty of Law in 2013, defending his doctoral dissertation titled „The impact of information and communication technologies on the exercise of trademark rights“. He was appointed assistant in 2007, senior assistant in 2013, and assistant professor in 2016. He gained the rank of associate professor at the Department of Information Technology Law and Informatics of the Faculty of Law in Zagreb in 2022. He is an arbitrator in procedures for resolving disputes about domain names within the .hr national top-level domain. He is a member of the committee for managing the .hr domain. He works as a consultant on Council of Europe projects in the field of personal data protection and privacy in electronic communications. He is a member of the board of directors of the Croatian Copyright Association (HDAP – ALAI) and the president of the Council of Experts for Fees in the Field of Copyright and Related Rights. He served as vice-dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb between 2017 and 2021.
