Main goals of the course are to introduce the students with tools and theoretical underpinnings necessary for understanding the logic and the characteristics of the policy-making process in general. Further on, students will be focused on acquiring methods for the analysis of public policies, including policy problems, goals, instruments, actors, outcomes and effects. In the end, students will possess a set of skills and know-how that will be of use for them both in the public and private sector, where knowledge of evidence-based public policy setting, as well as its implementation and oversight, is a comparative advantage.
