The team from the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, led by Nika Pavičić and Marko Šišić, under the mentorship of Juraj Brozović, PhD and last year’s competitor Nikolina Filipović, participated in the Brown Mosten International Client Consultation Competition, held from 9 – 12 April, 2025, in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom.
The Brown Mosten ICCC is a blend of clinical legal education and moot competition. This year’s topic focused on consumer contracts. Law students from around the world compete in teams of two. The criteria for evaluation, which is conducted by a multidisciplinary panel of judges, are client interaction, communication, and professional skills.
The Faculty of Law team from Zagreb was placed seventh, alongside five other teams. The Zagreb team stood out particularly in the first interview round, where they convincingly outperformed the other teams in their group. They received special commendation from the judges for their impeccable client approach and teamwork.
