By decision of the Croatian Parliament on 29 January 2026, Professor Ivan Šimonović, a long-time professor at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb and the current Director-General of the Inter-University Centre in Dubrovnik, has been appointed as a member of the Committee for the Award of National Science Prizes.
The Committee for the Award of National Science Prizes consists of the President of the Croatian Parliament, who also serves as the Chair of the Committee, the Minister of Science, Education and Youth, and 12 distinguished scientists.
