On 5 February 2025, the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb hosted the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Croatia, H.E. Elma Kovačević-Bajtal, PhD. She was accompanied by Zoran Perković, Minister-Counsellor and Head of the Cultural and Information Centre at the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Zagreb. The delegation was welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Ivan Koprić, alongside Ida Ogulinac, Head of the Office for International Cooperation and Projects.

During the meeting, Prof. Koprić briefed the Ambassador on the Faculty’s structure, operational framework, key performance indicators, and strategic development plans. Ambassador Kovačević-Bajtal emphasised the importance of strengthening ties and expanding cooperation with the Faculty of Law in Zagreb.

The discussions outlined a range of potential collaboration initiatives, reaffirming full support for deeper engagement between law faculties, universities, and other academic and public institutions from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Faculty of Law in Zagreb. As a first step, it was agreed to develop a catalogue of cooperation opportunities, establish a structured and ongoing exchange of information, and draft a roadmap for joint activities.
