On Tuesday, 12 December 2023, a presentation of the College of Europe was held at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, as part of the working visit to Croatia by Federica Mogherini, the Rector of the College of Europe and former EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy. During the visit, a Cooperation Agreement was signed with the Government of the Republic of Croatia, based on which the six best young Croatian candidates will receive one-year scholarships for one of the College of Europe programmes starting from the next academic year. The aim is to create a network of young professionals in the field of European law and European policies who, upon their return to Croatia, will continue to work in the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.

A presentation of the College of Europe was delivered by Pierre Bacheliere, followed by many questions by the interested students regarding application and enrollment, given that the deadline for applications for the next academic year is 16 January 2024.

After the presentation, a meeting was held with the Vice Dean for International Cooperation, Prof. Iris Goldner Lang, concerning the possibilities of collaboration between the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, the College of Europe, and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia.
