The Career Days of the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb were held this year from 14 to 18 February 2022 in the Faculty building at Gundulićeva Street 10. The event took place in a hybrid format, both in person and via the Zoom platform.
In the first part of the programme, lectures and workshops held from 14 to 16 February, a total of 20 speakers participated from the fields of legal practice, judiciary, notarial services, companies, public administration and local government, as well as social work.
The programme was moderated by Ivana Karaman Jurić, Head of the Alumni Community.
In the second part of the programme, Career Speed Dating, short individual job interviews with employers held on 17 and 18 February, a total of 27 potential employers took part, representing law firms, the judiciary, companies, and the social work sector. Volunteers from the Meritokrat association participated in organising and conducting the Career Speed Dating sessions.
A presentation of the legal portal Novi informator was also organised, and interested participants were offered a free one-month trial period of the legal portal.
More than 120 students registered for the event, confirming the growing level of student interest and the need for the continuous organisation of such initiatives. We are particularly pleased that an increasing number of alumni of our Faculty and employers recognise the importance of the Career Days, making this year’s programme rich and diverse in content.
