Congratulations to the students of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb who have been awarded the Rector’s Award for the 2024/2025 academic year in the following categories:
Individual Scientific Paper (one or two authors)
Lovre Opačak – Loss of Profit or Lost Justice: Where Case Law Gives and Where the Injured Party Loses the Chance. (supervisor: Associate Professor Ivana Kanceljak).
Award for Outstanding Competitive Achievements by Individuals or Teams
Karla Brnadić, Petra Japundžić, Klara Kramarić, Pamela Senjak, Sandra Šarić, Fran Krsto Šavorić, Rea Štoković and Marija Žarak – for their remarkable success at the 32nd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
Socially Beneficial Work within the Academic and Wider Community
Lana Hubak, Suzana Kegalj and Ana Krošl – for the project “Digital Literacy of Young People at Risk of Poverty: A Path towards Equal Access to Rights and Services.”
The Rector’s Award in the category Outstanding Competitive Achievements by Individuals or Teams in the interdisciplinary scientific field was also awarded to student athletes of the University of Zagreb who won medals at international competitions in the 2024/2025 academic year, including Dino Divjak, a student of the Faculty of Law.
The award ceremony will take place on Thursday, 6 November 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the University of Zagreb (SEECEL Building), Radoslava Cimermana 88.
