As part of the Erasmus+ mobility program for non-teaching staff, Petra Petrović, an employee of the library, spent five days at the Catalan University Libraries Erasmus Staff Week in Barcelona. Participants attended numerous lectures, with the main topics being open science infrastructure, support for learning and research, open educational materials, and citizen science.

Additionally, each participant gave a presentation introducing their university and the work of their library. Visits were also organized to historical and cultural landmarks in Barcelona, as well as to several libraries and university campuses. Participation in this interesting Erasmus Week was an opportunity to meet colleagues from all over Europe, exchange knowledge and experiences, learn about the working methods in European libraries, and reflect together on the challenges libraries and scientific research are facing today, as well as on the tools available for work and the role of academic libraries in the new environment (challenges of open science and educational materials, artificial intelligence, citizen science).
