Leo Cvitanović is a Full Professor at the Department of Criminal Law.  He has been employed by the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb since 1991 (appointed as a scientific advisor and full professor in 2012). He participated in the project of drafting new Croatian criminal and misdemeanor legislation. He is a member of the Croatian Academy of Legal Sciences, the Croatian Association of Criminal Sciences and Practice, the International Association of Penal Law (AIDP) and the World Society of Victimology (WSV).
