Ana Kršinić is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, writing her thesis on the impact of modern technology on asylum procedure and the rights of asylum seekers and refugees. As part of her research, she has participated in a number of national and international conferences and workshops in Croatia, Denmark, Czechia, Belgium and Germany.

She got her master’s degree in law at the University of Zagreb with the thesis titled “Innovation Principle in EU Food Safety Policy – A Cure for the Fallbacks of the Precautionary Principle or a Risk for the Protection of Human Health” in February 2022.

During her studies, she has spent a semester at the University of Edinburgh as an exchange student. In 2019, she was awarded a Dean’s Award for a co-authored paper titled Innovation v. Precautionary Principle in EU Environmental Law. In 2021 Ana participated at the Central and Eastern European Moot Court where the University of Zagreb won the 3rd place. She was awarded a Dean’s Award and a Special Rector’s Recognition for this accomplishment.
