The Miko Tripalo Centre for Democracy and Law, within which members of the teaching staff of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb are also active, has received the Charter of the Republic of Croatia from the President of the Republic, Zoran Milanović, in recognition of its continuous work in promoting the values of democracy, human rights, an open society, and economic and social justice.

At the ceremony held at the Office of the President of the Republic, the Charter was accepted on behalf of the Centre by Prof. Emeritus Ivo Josipović, former president of the Republic of Croatia and professor emeritus of the University of Zagreb.

Present at the ceremony for the awarding of the Charter of the Republic of Croatia, held at the Office of the President, were the following members of the Centre:
