Our employee responsible for the Alumni community, Ivana Karaman Jurić, spent last week at the Faculty of Law at the University of Deusto in Bilbao as part of the Erasmus+ program for non-teaching staff. During the program, Vice Dean for International Cooperation Emilio Armaza and Elena Linares Bandres from the university’s international office introduced Ivana to the faculty’s teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as activities related to communication, marketing, and the alumni community. Ivana had the opportunity to participate in working meetings with each of these offices, visit the campus, the impressive CRAI library (Research and Education Resource Center), and the world-renowned Guggenheim Museum.

A particularly informative meeting was with the communications and marketing team, led by Erika Pradas Garcia and Lander Santamaria Castilla, during which they exchanged valuable experiences about communication strategies and connecting with alumni communities. Additionally, Ivana participated in organizing the ceremonial Welcome Day, supporting the Faculty of Law at the University of Deusto in welcoming new students.

“I would recommend this kind of experience to everyone as it enriches both professionally and personally. I invite all colleagues to take advantage of the opportunities that the Erasmus+ program offers and get involved in international exchanges,” said Ivana.
