Education and work experience: Tatjana Josipović graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb in 1985 (31 May) and received her master’s degree from the same Faculty within the Postgraduate study in Commercial Law on the topic: “Pobijanje dužnikovih pravnih radnji” (“Rebuttal of Debtor’s Legal Actions”) (19 October 1990), and her Ph.D. at the same Faculty entitled: “Sustavi publiciranja prava na nekretninama kao temelji zaštite povjerenja u pravnom prometu” (“Systems of Publication of Real Estate Rights as the Basis of Trust Protection in Legal Transactions”) (Her dissertation was defended on 12 July 1995, she received her Ph.D. degree on 16 February 1996). She passed her bar exam in 1987.

She worked as a trainee lawyer from 23 October 1985 to 29 September 1987 and as a court trainee from 18 November 1985 to 18 May 1986. She was employed at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb as an intern-postgraduate from 30 September 1987 to 6 November 1990, as an assistant from 7 November 1990 to 19 December 1995, as a senior assistant from 20 December 1995 to 22 October 1996, as an assistant professor from 23 October 1996 to 27 June 2000, as an associate professor from 28 June 2000 to 6 February 2004. From 17 February 2004, she was employed as a full professor, and as a tenured professor from March 2009.
