The International Staff Week program brought together around thirty representatives from European universities and faculties. Alongside the European participants, representatives from higher education institutions in Mozambique and Cambodia also attended. The program featured numerous university presentations, workshops, lectures, and activities focused on the internationalisation of higher education, strengthening international cooperation, and exchanging experiences among administrative and academic staff.
As part of the program, on May 19, 2026, the representatives of the Faculty of Law delivered a presentation about the Faculty. They introduced participants to the Faculty’s organisation, study programmes, international cooperation, Erasmus activities, as well as the challenges and experiences regarding the post-earthquake reconstruction of the faculty buildings in Zagreb.
The program saw participation from representatives of numerous higher education institutions, including:
- Canadian Institute of Technology
- American University of Armenia
- Palacký University Olomouc
- Université Bretagne Sud
- University of Turin
- University of Montenegro
- Eduardo Mondlane University
- West University of Timișoara
- V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, and many others.
Beyond the official schedule, participants had the opportunity to explore the cultural and natural heritage of the Galicia region through organized visits to Santiago de Compostela, the Castelo de San Antón, the A Coruña Aquarium, and the university campus in the city of Ferrol.
Participation in this program has further strengthened the international cooperation of the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb with its partner institutions, opening up new opportunities for future projects and networking in the field of higher education internationalisation. Notably, the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, and the University of A Coruña share an active Erasmus agreement, which has successfully fostered international academic cooperation for many years.
