Upon the proposal of the Rector of Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, the Senate of Eötvös Loránd University has adopted a decision to confer the title of Doctor et Professor Honoris Causa upon Professor Emeritus Dalibor Čepulo.
This decision reflects the high recognition of the Senate of Eötvös Loránd University for Professor Čepulo’s outstanding scholarly achievements and internationally acknowledged academic work, as well as his significant contribution to the advancement of the discipline and to academic cooperation.
On 8 May 2026, the Senate of Eötvös Loránd University will confer upon Professor Emeritus Dalibor Čepulo of the University of Zagreb the title of Doctor et Professor Honoris Causa. On this occasion, Professor Čepulo will deliver a lecture at the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University entitled “The Croatian–Hungarian Settlement of 1868: A Hybrid Framework and Modern Governance”.
The professors, staff, management and the Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, extend their congratulations to Professor Emeritus Dalibor Čepulo on this distinguished recognition and honorary title.
