Conflict resolution through arbitration and mediation

The first lecture for Conflict resolution through arbitration and mediation will be held on Thursday, 24 November 2011, in Ćirilometodska street 4, room 5 at 13 h ( 1 p.m.).

The second lecture will take place on Monday, 28 November 2011 (time and venue to be confirmed).

In addition, all students enrolled in the mentioned subject are obliged to visit Croatian days of arbitration and mediation on Thursday, 1 December 2011 at 15h (3 p.m.) and Friday, 2 December from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Croatian days of arbitration and mediation will take place at the premises of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, Roosevelt Square 2 (Rooseveltov trg 2- link to the map). On Thursday, the students will be able to hear presentations on mediation, while on Friday the main topic will be arbitration.

Orientation Day - Winter Semester 2011/2012

Faculty of Law in Zagreb is hosting forty foreign exchange students this year. The first Orientation Day for Erasmus students took place on Friday, 30th of September 2011. Twenty - two students who came in the winter semester were welcomed by the Dean, Vice Dean for International Cooperation and the ECTS coordinator, followed by a brief Capella Iuris choir performance. Presentations of the courses in English, students' associations, sporting activities, library catalogue and database were held, followed by a tour of the Faculty premises. The students got a chance to receive information about the programme, they met their professors and fellow students and got a lot of practical information relevant for their studies and stay in Zagreb. Staff members from several embassies joined our international students at lunch. Welcome, Erasmus students!
